Looking for a weekend adventure? There are a plethora of provincial and national parks scattered all across Ontario for you to enjoy. Some of our favourites include Georgian Bay Islands National Park. This park is located on Beausoleil Island, which means you can only access it by boat, but this is the perfect way to enjoy the world’s largest freshwater archipelago. This park leads you to secluded campsites or waterfront cabins, which are a perfect getaway for the entire family! Get active for the weekend, as the national park also offers wonderful terrain for hiking and crystal blue waters to swim. Glamping in Muskoka

 

Roughing it in the wilderness may not be meant for everyone – and that is where the term glamping was created! A mix of glamour and camping, mixing a variety of resort-style services with a traditional camping trip. Muskoka has an abundance of cottages for rent during the summer, but take a look at staying at a glamping site like Cotton Co. This spot is available all 4 seasons for a luxury stay right by the waterfront without the hefty price. This location is the perfect destination for a romantic couple’s weekend.
