Open Studio Weekend
From September 29th to October 1st, tour the 34 art studios and fine art galleries across Southern Georgian Bay where you will be welcomed by a profusion of fall scenery and great art! This event is free to the public and is no appointment necessary! Grab your Open Studio Passport here and get up close and personal to some of the best artists in the region! From wonderful paintings, photography, jewelry, pottery, and glass art there is surly something to catch your eye! 
 
Bruce Peninsula Hiking Festival 2017
Make your way to Bruce Peninsula National Park this September 30th and join the 14th annual Bruce Peninsula Hiking festival. This years hike is “Walk on the Wild Side”. This two-day event will incorporate some of the top classified “wilderness” spots right on the peninsula. Enjoy two days of packed events and activities where you will hike to the greatest secluded spots in the area that are classified as true “wilderness”
 
PumpkinFest in Port Elgin
PumpkinFest is one of Ontario’s most unique fall events as it is the largest two day outdoor festival that includes car shows, 100 craft & marketplace vendors and tons of family fun including master giant pumpkin carving demonstration’s, puppet shows and even a “Pub-kin” crawl for those without their little ones! Don’t miss all the unique events, activities and attractions that is PumpkinFest!
 
Witches in the Woods
Join the family fun at MacGregor Provincial Park this October 14th for a weekend full of spooky events. This fun filled Halloween weekend will have something for everyone! Join the spooky interpretive games and pumpkin carving contests! Or test your courage on October 14th as you make your way though a haunted trail in MacGregor Point Provincial Park, best suited for children 12 and over! After the fun be sure to go trick-or-treating around the campground! Don’t miss your chance to gather your family and make your way through this fun and interactive event!
 
Stout ‘n Kraut Bavarian Street Festival
Come out to Mildmay, Bruce County on October 14th from 4pm-12am and immerse yourself in everything Bavarian/German. This one-day only street festival will take place from Elora St. to Peter St and will provide live bands and entertainment, German BBQ eats such as sausage & kraut on a bun, and lots of different games for all age groups! 3rd Annual Huron Bruce Celebrity Hockey Classic
This October, Skate with the Greats at the 3rd annual celebrity hockey classic in Port Elgin. This annual tournament will kick off on the evening of October 26th with a draft party where you and your teammates will select a NHL star to play on your team. Draft selections will be based on the highest fundraising totals of each team Don’t miss your chance to play alongside some of NHL greatest players as your team supports Easter Seals Ontario and their programs that they provide to children with disabilities in the community.
