March Break is quickly approaching, which means the kids will be home and you’re probably looking for family activities for March Break. There is plenty going on in our areas of service that will be fun for the entire family. Here are a few events that we are looking forward to:


ROM March Break


Explore arts and culture through March Break at the ROM. With so many amazing exhibits going on at the ROM this season in combination with the special March Break activities taking place all week long, there will be so much to discover. Some of the fantastic exhibits currently open are Treasures of a Desert Kingdom: The Royal Arts of Jodhpur, India – a feature on one of India’s greatest former kingdoms, the breathtaking photographs of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year, and the ROM’s original dinosaur exhibition – Zuul: Life of an Armoured Dinosaur. March Break at Blue Mountain


Get ready for days filled with adventure and fun on and off the slopes! March Break is family time at Blue Mountain with activities, live music, interactive performances, fireworks and more! Their jam packed schedule has daily activities that allow kids to get active and involved in some of the great explorations of the Village, including the Village scavenger hunt and the Amazing Village Race that will be happening every day Monday through Friday. With activities both indoors and outdoors, you can enjoy a trip down the mountain or cozy up indoors with some fun things to do in Collingwood. March Break in Muskoka


There is so much fun to be had this March Break around Muskoka! The weather looks like it is going to be perfect to get outdoors, and there is still lots of snow on the ground to enjoy the area’s winter activities. Whether you’re looking to get active through snowboarding, skiing, or snowshoeing or you are looking to have fun indoors, there are so many fun family-friendly things to do in Muskoka. At Deerhurst Resort, you can check out their Indoor Fun Zone, 1,100 square feet of inflatables and games only available for March Break. Enjoy an outdoor excursion with North Ridge Ranch dog sledding tours. Act quickly, as their March Break bookings are filling up fast!


March Break All Over The County


The learning doesn’t have to stop when March Break starts! Make plans for March Break fun this year at the Prince Edward County Public Library, The HUB Centre, and the Prince Edward County Fitness and Aquatic Centre. Each day from 10:30 to 2:30, there is programming taking place at the public library centred around interactive activities and arts and crafts. The HUB Centre is offering a March Break camp for kids at St. Gregory’s Catholic School. Each day has a different theme aimed at personal development for your child. Check out the March Break camp happening at The County’s Fitness and Aquatic Centre, with themed activities all week long inside and outside the pool!
