Looking for a quality cup of coffee to kick off your day? Head out to one of these locations for a fine experience that will surely keep your energy high and your spirits higher! We have highlighted some of our favourites around our areas of service for your enjoyment.

The Bean Counter Cafe

This Picton staple coffee shop is perfect for both locals and tourists alike, as it is a short walk away from the Picton Harbour. With homemade baked goods and foods, fair trade organic coffee beans, a variety of loose-leaf teas, and locally made gelato available, this is a quintessential spot for coffee in Prince Edward County. Our recommendation is the Dirty Chai, a standard chai tea with a shot of espresso poured in. Don’t forget to grab a scoop of gelato to enjoy on your walk to the beach this summer!

Pilot Coffee Roasters

It’s always a good sign when you want to buy coffee beans from your favourite cafe so you can enjoy your favourite cup of joe in the comfort of your home, and Pilot Coffee Roasters does just that! With several locations across Toronto, Pilot’s coffee is an integral part of a lot of Torontonians daily routine, especially with their location at Union Station. Pilot does not limit their coffee to their own shops, as they provide their beans to different cafes across Toronto including Te Aro on Queen East and Crafted on Ossington. Visit their website for more information about their beans and locations.

Ashanti

Visit Collingwood’s Ashanti Café where they serve Ashanti Premium Arabica Coffee that is grown on temperate slopes in rich red soils in the heart of Africa’s Beautiful Eastern Highlands region in Zimbabwe. As part of their philosophy, Ashanti embraced the farm to cup mantra, where the African grown beans are provided to Ashanti as the only distributors of Zimbabwean coffee in Canada. Fun fact: they are the first café in the area to offer Nitro Cold Brew coffee on tap, the perfect caffeine refresher while enjoying a day on the waterfront, which is only minutes away!

Coffee Public

With locations in Toronto and Port Hope, this quaint coffee shop is the perfect caffeine pick-me-up. Their coffee blends are inspired by the Southern Ontario region that they work in, including their Northumberland Sunrise blend that is a perfect mid-morning coffee with notes of berries and molasses giving way to dark chocolate. Check out their website for more information on the featured artwork/artists in each location, as they feature a local artist’s work each month. With all of the classic coffee options at this cafe, you will not go wrong choosing Coffee Public as your go-to coffee fix!
